An Awareness Campaign
In layman's term, a Placebo is a harmless substance or chemical used in clinical trials to determine the efficacy of a certain drug.  In the context and objective of The Placebo President,  I am using this write up not in a clinical trial but amidst political and spiritual trials to determine the character of a certain presidential candidate to the highest level of values in uplifting not only the economic condition but most all, the spiritual development of the Filipino people.  Therefore, it is hoped that a leader or a President must be:

1. One who promotes and lives out the value of purity as the foundation of Good and Godly Governance (3G) and one who always has in him or her the purity of thoughts, words, actions, relationships and connections and also one who teaches and practices the universal values of peace, love, happiness, generosity, simplicity, humility, detachment and spiritual power.

2. One who subscribes to the AlphaNumeric Principles by combining the powerful principles of Karma (from five letters in the Alphabet) and the teachings of the Biblical Law of Sowing and Reaping (Numeric/12656, Chapter 126 verses 5 and 6 in the Bible) to eliminate corruption, sexual perversion, drug addiction, robberies, killings, kidnappings, etc., and one who is willing to commit to zero corruption at Malacanang and who promises not to make a single Government funded and/or paid foreign travel during his or her term as President.
 
3. One who firmly believes that peace is the true and original nature of the soul and not merely the absence of war, a stand which can be more acceptable and workable to both Christians and Muslims alike and also with MNLF, MILF, NPA and other outlawed groups

4. One who has the honesty and humility to accept that the Philippines is a very poor Country and who can muster enough courage to appeal to all foreign creditors to free the Filipinos the burden of paying all the interests due including an affordable and acceptable percentage of the loan principals.  The big savings can definitely be used to take care of free medicines, hospitalization and education of the poorest of the poor Filipinos.

5. One who subscribes to the practice of “Trustparency” or “Trust in Transparency”, giving him or her also the courage to ask the Central Bank to permanently lift the Bank Secrecy Law and who also voluntarily allows the printing of all the Palace maintenance expenses in a tarpaulin and prominently displays it in front of the Palace every month.  By doing this, other local government officials will definitely follow this practice.

6. One who will never ask the people to vote for him or her but will ask God, the Father to touch the hearts and minds of voters to choose the right leaders. He or she is one who not has the political but also the spiritual power to request all willing and qualified experts in governance with unquestionable dignity and integrity to work with him or her in running the Country for one hundred pesos (Php 100.00) a month honorarium and just thank and tell them to charge the rest to God.

7. One who is truly independent, apolitical, absolutely no relations and connections to any politician and/or political groups or a member and/or a follower of any religious sect, does not owe anyone any political favor and who can appeal to past three Presidents to help him or her steer back the country to where it rightfully belongs and one who will not and will never appoint in any position, anyone who is related, by any form of affinity, to him or to her during his or her incumbency.

8. One who adheres to the Spritocratic rather than the Democratic form of Government and elevates the Moral Recovery Program (MRP) into Spiritual Recovery Program (SRP) and one who will take time to review the government current multi taxation programs and inspire and motivate people to pay the right taxes by improving the trust ratings of the Bureau of Internal Revenue, Customs and all other tax collecting and generating agencies.

9. One who can approach all the Congressmen and tell all of them to go home and stay closer to their respective constituents so that they can serve them better and one who can suggest to the members of this honorable body to do all their debates in the internet or web blogs instead of doing them and confronting each other on the floor of the house making them more vulnerable to in-fighting, grand standing and insulting one another in the process.  We have enough laws anyway and all they have to do is to review and implement all of them.

10. One who can request all Cabinet Secretaries, Undersecretaries, Military Generals and Officers, Consultants, Directors, Presidents, CEO’s, Executives and all high ranking officials and officers of both Government and private entities to cut down to zero level all their perks and reduce their salaries by 20% and share the savings to all workers in the rank and file in their respective companies and departments.  They can just charge the difference to God, the Father in the form of spiritual blessing such as good health and business and family relationships.  The world is not getting better and time is fast running. These highly respective and privileged citizens should serve, share and be blessed rather than accumulate.
