God has given you excellent voices, talents, treasures, outstanding personalities and religious. social and political connections andby accepting these earthly and heavenly gifts, you become His “mikes” or microphones to “affect” the minds of the people with your words and wisdom and “effect” changes among them with your motivating and inspiring actions.

A guardian angel shares a framework on Holi-politics. My partner keeps sending and delivering the thoughts and the ideas directly or through appointed messengers. Holi-politics is not a new concept. It is an old but forgotten practice of politics. Some are even ancient ideas of governance. Holi-politics is primarily anchored on spirituality with the aim and objective of making both leaders and their subjects realize their true and original identity as spiritual beings.
   
Holi-politics wishes to share its thoughts and recommendations on the following issues and agenda:

HOLI-POLITICS is simply the “holistic” approach in politics. This old but forgotten system of public service, takes into full consideration  and in strict order of priority, the psycho-spiritual, socio-physical and economic aspects of political leadership and governance.

In Holi-politics , governance is for and by the people, not through and from the people, “for me” and for my benefit as it is being practiced today, giving a new but distorted and degraded definition of public service. Holi-politics is God-Centered, not leader-oriented. It rejects all forms of political patronage.

A good politician wants his good deeds and services to be recognized by the people here on Earth. A Holitician wants his good deeds and services to be recognized by God in Heaven.

A good politician has self-respect for others. Holi-politics firmly believes that all politicians are innately good, only that they have forgotten their true identity and original qualities as spiritual beings.

ON HUMAN DEVELOPMENT

The foundation of Holi-politics is the development of the Psycho-Spiritual qualities of the people anchored on their original characteristics and natural attributes as spiritual beings. Holi-politics truly believes that transformation starts from within and changes, from without. As we change, the word changes (BK).

Holi-politics creates self-awareness that people are not just human “doings” but, first and foremost, they are human “being”. It nevertheless acknowledges that money is a means to life but certainly, it is not life. That “needs” limit one’s freedom and “wants” are just the results of human and technological creations.

In Holi-politics, leadership is only stewardship and ownership is purely trusteeship. Stewardship creates freedom while trusteeship eliminates fear of loss. It believes that true leadership is self-governance. One must be able to manage the self first before leading or managing others.

ON SOCIO PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT

Holi-politics believes that a mentally and physically healthy population makes people better, responsible and productive social beings. They become worthy members of the society, of the community and of the family they belong.  Likewise, Holi-politics believes that a healthy population makes a healthy nation. That health is wealth and one must balance mental, physical and spiritual fitness.

Holi-politics recognizes tha paramount importance of socio-physical development of the people. In this context, it endeavors to strengthen the system of education, health programs and policies. Despite of all social and physical considerations, people are still spiritual beings and Holi-politics fully subscribes to the idea that self realization leads to self-actualization, which gives rise to a better civilization.

ON ECONOMY AND ECONOMICS

Holi-politics considers not only how much amount of money the people and the country have which determines material but also the wealth of spiritual values that will ensure equal distribution of resources and elimination of poverty and conflicts.

In Holi-politics, Economics is not only determined by monetary and statistical figures, but rather, it teaches people the importance of “economy” as one of the human values which can be tapped to address the problems poverty and inequality.

The ethics of simplicity teaches economy. Simplicity is the conscience, which calls upon people to rethink their values. Simplicity narrows the perennial and crippling gap between the “haves” and the “have nots” by demonstrating the logic and dynamics of true Economics to work, earn, save, invest and share the blessings and prosperity with others.

From simplicity grows generosity and from economy grows honestly and sincerity in serving others with dignity, responsibility and accountability.

ON TAX EVASION, BRIBERY, GRAFT AND CORRUPTION

Traditionally, people believe that corruption is as old as that of our civilization. Holi-politics believes otherwise. It firmly believes that it is not the practice of graft and corruption but the living out of the virtue of honesty through simplicity, which is much, much older than our civilization.

Originally, human beings have pure and elevated minds, not degraded and corrupted ones. To eliminate tax evasion, bribery, graft and corruption, Holi-politcs inculcates in the minds of the people the eternal and immutable Law of Sow and Reap, which Bible is also very explicit.

The people from the East refer to this as the Law of Karma. Newton, in his books in Physics, simply puts it that “for every action, there is an opposite and equal reaction”, Some call it the Law of Cause and Effect. Our teachers in grade school constantly remind us of the “Golden Rule”.

The dynamics of the law of Karma does not consider morality. Morality is a human creation. Karma gives us freedom in everything we do but we are fully responsible and accountable for he consequences of all of our actions. What we give, is what we receive.

Karma is ultimate justice. It may manifest itself in one’s health, wealth, intelligence and relationship today, tomorrow, next year or even in our next life. No one escapes Karma.

ON ADVERTISEMENT, CONSUMERISM AND COMMERCIALISM

Holi-politics beleves in Truth in Advertising, the one that promotes the values of fairness, honesty and simplicity and not the culture of commercialism and consumerism, which gives rise to misguided materialsm.

Holi-politics helps people realize that everything here on earth is limited and temporary. That everything is made of matter and energy which is constantly subjected to wear, tear and decay including our own bodies.

Holi-politics subscribes to Law of Entropy and Energy. This is the 2nd Law of Thermodynamics which states in layman’s terms that, “whatever is new will become old”. Nothing is exempted from this Law.
   
Materialism breeds greed. What separates the rich from the poor is not money but greed. Greed gives rise to too much accumulation of material possessions. Accumulation causes imbalance of energy. It blocks the energy from its original and well-balanced source. It blurs the values of simplicity and generosity.

For whatever one considers  as excess, Holi-politics encourages everyone to share and give these resources back to the universe to maintain its original balance.

ON ENVIRONMENTAL POTECTION ND PRESERVATION

Holi-politics beieves that the main cause on environmental degradation is mental degradation. People’s minds are so degraded and so their actions.

People have forgotten that “nature” has its own intelligence. If we tinker with or destroy her, she will definitely fight back and shows her wrath through natural calamities such as typhoons, floods, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, etc. .  We must always remember that the Law of Sow and Reap or “Karma” also applies to both Humans and Nature.

Realizing the power of the Law of Karma, Holi-politics tells the people to stop destroying and start preserving the environment for the benefit of the next generation, or else, they must be prepared to accept the consequences of their actions. Use, but don’t abuse.

Holi-politics encourages people to plant seedling and harvest trees and enjoy the fruits, the fresh water and the shades that these trees will provide. As the saying goes” plant a thought and harvest a destiny”.  If we protect her, Mother Nature will surely express elation by showing her natural beauty, not natural calamity.

ON POLLUTION CONTROL, WASTE MANAGEMENT AND GARBAGE DISPOSAL

Holi-politics maintains that waste thoughts pollute the mind due to its inability to dispose of its mental garbage.  A clean mind creates a clean environment. One must be spiritually clean to be physically and environmentally clean. First and foremost, cleanliness must start with one’s own environment, the minds environment. We must always remember that we cannot teach what we do not practice.

Cleanliness is a virtue. It is so attached to purity and purity is a very powerful quality of the soul and of the spirit. A clean mind creates pure intention and a pure intention brings about a pure action. Holi-politics belives that this maxim must be inculcated in the minds of every individual in every constituency and citizenry with main focus on the smallest unit of the society. Holi-politics always emphasizes the importance of cleanliness as a human and divine virtue.

0N PEACE AND ORDER

Holi-politics believes that human beings always subscribe to non-violence because being peaceful is their true, innate and original quality and characteristic  The first step to national and global peace is “ personal peace”. The second step is for the people to have self-esteem, self respect and self confidence so that whatever they see outside and feel inside will be automatically transmitted and expressed to others.

True peace takes its roots from the inside out, and not from the outside in. Holi-politics believes that peace must be the foundation of a healthy society. Peace  must also be a permanent and prominent characteristic of a civilized society, a society, above all, that has the consciousness of creating values, systems, virtues, customs, traditions, and outlook supporting a sustainable culture of peace.
   
Holi-politics believes that the key to peace is purity within the self because purity is the mother of peace. It means purity in thoughts, words, actions, relationships and connections. This is called “internal disarmament” or simply disarming  one self with lust, anger and ego as weapons of self-destruction and conflicts.

It takes only five minutes of anger between two people to bring about world war, but it only takes a minute of fervent prayer and silent meditation for “personnal peace” to have a lasting peace in the country and in the whole world.

ON VIOLENCE, RAPE, SEX AND BIRTH CONTROL

In a peaceful atmosphere and environment, people will reject any or all forms of violence. Holi-politics recognizes and supports this divine act and sincere intention from peace loving global beings.

Holi-politics looks at sex in its most elevated form. Sex can be the purest way for human beings to  express their spirituality not by physical attraction and sexual contact but by utmost realization that we are all pure spirits in male and female bodies and in the truest sense of brotherhood, we are all brothers and children of the one Father.

For birth control, Holi-politics recognizes and recommends “full or partial Celibacy” as a valid alternative sexual lifestyle. Celibacy is an absolute freedom from sexual thoughts and desires. It is not repression, deprivation or self-denial. It is one of the many ways we can observe energy, very vital energy, which can better be channeled to and used in more positive and meaningful activities.

Sex starts in the mind. So it is a mental attitude. There is no such a thing as sexual organ, only urinary drainpipe. The main functions of sexual act is procreation. After a couple has decided to limit the number of their children, then, their sexual indulgence remains as a temporary fulfillment and fleeting experiences of sexual pleasures.

ON EDUCATION AND CULTURE

Highly influenced by politics and economics, the present educational systems and curricula have always been refined and redefined to reflect a set of values, which are founded on the physical and material, rather then on the spiritual aspects of living. This caused enormous pressures among school children and students.

Holi-politics believes that the systems of education must have a vision and understanding which can unite all religious beliefs and must have the aim and objective of studying and experiencing spiritual values such as peace, love, harmony, simplicity and contentment. These values must be the focus to work on these basic values and integrate them into their attitudes and behavior.

Holi-politics believes that there are no environmental, financial, political and societal crises, only spiritual crisis, and the teaching of spiritual values is now vital to meet the challenges of the time.  Real education for life is life itself. It is a process that spans from birth to death. Holi-politics belives that our national curricula must recognize this lifelong journey of learning. Our educational system must be able to tap the latent talents, skills and dormant personal powers of every student, a system that also seeks to heal the divisions within the individual and ultimately in society.

ON GOVERNMENT BIDDINGS AND BULK PROCUREMENTS

Holi-politics believes that private business enterprises should not make government as their business. They should not make the very limited government resources as their “milking cows”, instead they should support the government by providing goods and services at the least cost, better quality and with a minimum but very respectable profit.

Holi-politics recommends “strict transparency” in all government transactions. As a basic requirement all interested companies must submit their bid prices based on certified and transparent computations of the landed cost plus all chargeable expenses. Bidding must be limited to a maximum of 10% of the total cost, and the income must be absolutely tax-free.

Since the bidding is totally transparent and the play on pricing is limited to a maximum of 10% corruption through overpricing is minimized if not totally eliminated. The Law of Sow and Reap and/or “Karma”, also applies to both the government institutions and private bidders. Companies helping the government will earn good Karma for their businesses. Likewise, government employees not engaging in bribery and corruptions during the bidding process will also earn the same good Karma.

ON SAVINGS, DONATIONS AND VOLUNTARY CONTRIBUTIONS

Holi-politics recommends the creation of a “Karmic Bank” inside the Central Bank so that, the people, on strictly voluntary basis, can open individual “Karmic Accounts” and put all their money derived from not so good sources in this bank on strictly confidential and “deposit only” basis.

The Bank will also serve as a fiery pit to purify all ill-gotten wealth by putting them into good use such as helping the poor people and the economy. Those who have excess money derived from good and noble sources can avail of the services of “Celestial Bank” to bless them as donors as it purifies their money and other resources as donations for worthy causes and Godly services.

Holi-politics encourages every citizen from all walks of life to deposit their gold, dollars and other foreign currencies in these banks to help boost the international reserves to support the economy.  No one should expect anything in return except the happiness, fulfillment and the great feeling of being a part of this noble endeavor of helping the community and the country as a whole.

Holi-politics also recommends the construction of “Karmic and Celestial Booths” in all branches of government, rural and private commercial banks nationwide, for people to deposit their shares anytime during banking hours. Central Bank can design an equitable mechanics for this program.
