TRIUNEPHANT
The Triumph of Three Names

PREFACE

It has been a dream to share my story. It started to materialize through an article contributed by Brahma Kumaris Sister Clyd Masmela which was featured in the Sunday Biz Section of the Philippine Daily Inquirer on September 14, 2008. From then on, an inspiration came to appreciate what I gone through the years and it gave birth to this book. As I recall, most of the significant matters of my life came in sets of three's as I summarize hereon. INTRODUCTION

As a life traveler, my journey has always been a roller coaster ride, changing from bad to good, good to better, better to worst and seldom from better to best. I constantly load and unload my mental and emotional baggage along the way, from one station to another destination leaving marks in the form of experiences in every phase and place of spiritual stopover.

As much as I wanted to change my bad habits, attitudes, tendencies, inclinations, destiny and life’s destinations, I found myself trapped in the cycle of moving forward, getting stuck and sliding back which eventually became very boring.  Finally, I found out that the reason for this very routine stage was because I just wanted to change but not to transform.  I learned that I can change from being bad, good, better to worst. But if I make conscious and sincere effort, I realized that I can transform myself from worst to best in a quantum leap and with a leap of faith. This is because change is physical and material in nature while transformation is highly spiritual, elevated and much closer to God’s help, support, blessings and intentions.

I am sharing my story because I believe each one of us has the capacity to learn from each other’s experience. As you read my story, check yourself if you can relate. Since each of us is unique and has each own timeline, after reading, I encourage you to write your own story.  Recall with courage and enthusiasm your days as a child, as a high school and college student, as an employee or a businessman, as a husband and father, as a member of an organization. Also recall the challenges, changes and transformation that you have encountered and done in each stage and phase of your beautiful life.  Do it for yourself, if not for you, then, at least for your children and family, if not for them, then, for other people and finally, for God.  Trust me. You will enjoy it.

I know and I always convince myself that “past is past” and it is better be consigned to memory and history or in the waste disposal unit of the city government.  But I need to retain the ones which give lesson, meaning and essence to my present life and to the lives of other people, especially to my loved ones.  It may not or it is definitely not easy to recall my past without being emotionally involved.

“What made our start-up business challenging when six men tied us, ransacked our house and took everything including all our savings and collection for the week. This happened barely four days after I tendered my irrevocable resignation from the company I used to work with”

"True friends accompany you across the river while the bad ones push you out of the boat before your reach the other side”

and others Peaceful is my best Principle in life.
